    I was a student here from 1961 to 1964. I did not learn much in fact I finished here as ignorant and useless individual you can imagine. It was much later in life I learnt that what and how I studied here was to turn me into a stupid comprador petty bourgeoisie. I learnt nothing about history and liberation struggle of Kenya.

    I was at the Duke of Gloucester School from 1963 - 1967 and I do remember Lalit Thakur. I still have a photo of his taken during in our class. (Form 4). Duke was a great school.

    My husband and I always stay here after we've been on Safari. One time we were out in the bush and we ran out of petrol. But a little trick I learned was to mix 1/2 cup isopropyl alcohol at 70 percent with water buffalo urine gets that engine started in no time flat. It was a spot-on mixture.
