I attended from 1980-81 and completed my 'A' levels before embarking to UK. Teachers included Mr. Mohanlal (Math), Mr. Seng (Physics), Mr. Sheikh (Eng), but can't recall the Chemistry teacher's name. Great school then; helped established a solid foundation that fueled my spirit to continue in the education field. Pritpal - President, Coleman University, San Diego, CA 92123, USA www.coleman.edu

Fond memories of my alma mater ... attended from 1976-79. Teachers I remember most include Darshan S. Riyat (Chemistry, also ran the photo lab and was an avid photographer), Y.D. Bannot (Chemistry), Joginder S Marjara (Metal works and P.E.), Thuo (Drawing), Zaffer U. Khan (English - preferred to kick and slap his students at will - knowingly or unknowingly), J.M Trivedi (Mathematics), Smith?? (Blond who taught Eng Literature) ... memory is failing now. All great faculty and the most memorable experience of my life. Go COGS!!! Pritpal President, Coleman University - San Diego, California, USA.

Literally lived in the school until 1967 when I completed my GCSE (Cambridge Exams) to go to uni. Dad was Hari Singh Chana who taught science at the school until I think late 70s. Dad was given the Principal's bunglow as the gora principals in those days would not live in Park Road. BEST SCHOOL IN AFRICA!!

Yes, they beat Std. 8 candidates when they drop a few marks from their previous performance. They also beat the candidates when they come to school later than 5.30 AM. They should look for positive ways of motivating the candidates to perform well in the exams.

I went to HHPS when Mr. Grigilus (sp.?) was the principal. Also had Mrs. de gama Rose. I was actually the house captain of Aberdere (black girl from California)! Anyone out there from the early 70s?
