    The place is densely populated(good for business)but receives no services from the municipal authority-which is also very strict on collecting taxes.I would advice the people of this area to stop paying taxes until the council sweeps the streets and improves the social amenities.

    I attended Jamhuri High from 1968 to 1974 doing my O and A levels there after moving there from City Primary School next door where i had my first 7 years of education. The time at this amazing school was the best time of my life. It set me up for the challenges of life as I went on to University of Aberdeen from there. The school had excellent educational and sports facilities then. The experiences included falling in love with a beautiful Indian Diplomat's daughter who schooled there and getting caned by the then headmaster Mr Mwangi. (It wasn't for falling in love-if you are wondering). The school will always be a part of me. Effort Unending indeed.
