    My son, only a toddler in about 1971 spent some time in the hospital when he had severe croup. I have never forgotten the gentle and loving care of the staff and their support for me, a young Mum far from home in Australia. It is nice to read about it still being there offering the excellent care for children.

    It all looks a lot better than when we used to meet at the old Railway Club premises. Although nobody ever 'missed' the target it was remarkable how many round holes could be seen through the corrugated iron building after dark (we met on Tuesday and Thursday evenings then) with the light shining from within. It just goes to show how much space there is outside the bull ring. Hope to come on holiday soon, and will certainly visit you then. KWAHERI
